"Our intent was to get a document imaging solution that would work seamlessly from our MEDITECH EMR. With an IPeople interface, we were able to accomplish that. When the user is in Meditech, IPeople Assist launches ImageNow from Perceptive Software and logs the user in. When analysts assign tasks in ImageNow, the IPeople Assist tool bar blinks to alert physicians so they can electronically sign documents and answer coding questions. IPeople also interfaces the document imaging deficiency back to MEDITECH. The deficiency is assigned and cleared in ImageNow, IPeople then relays to MEDITECH the updated status.
