IPEOPLE and PASSPORT INTEGRATION
IPeople provides a custom solution that allows for insurance eligibility checks and address verification checks to be performed during the patient registration process, and provides rules for checking address and insurance information based on the current patient loaded in MEDITECH.
If changes for either the address or insurance information are detected, then the solution will automatically update MEDITECH with the selected changes.
The integration solution provides the following functionality:
- A process for manually checking the address or verifying the insurance information
- Automatic launch of patient address verification from ADM based on defined rules
- Automatic launch of guarantor address verification from ADM based on defined rules
- Automatic launch of insurance verification from ADM based on defined rules
- Option for viewing history regarding verifications performed for the current registration
