IPeople’s Real-Time Census Monitor
Monitor real-time patient census statistics through an easy to use graphical presentation launched via your Windows System Tray. The IPeople Census Monitor allows sites to specify budgets and set indicators to better assess the status and needs of the organization. All census information can be exported directly to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis and reporting.
IPeople’s Census Analysis
Analyze patient census statistics over a custom period through an easy to use graphical presentation. Search census by doctor, location, admit date, and more with custom drag and drop filtering capabilities. All census information can be exported directly to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis and reporting.
IPeople’s Turnaround Time View
The IPeople Turnaround Time View allows staff to quickly determine if patient wait times have exceeded the organization’s acceptable standards. Users can view and assess turnaround time durations such as:
- Scheduling/Pre-Reg to registration
- Check-in/Triage to patient registration
- Outpatient departures to inpatient admissions
- Registration to departure/discharge
- Anything in between with the support of customer defined queries
IPeople Clinical Notification Utility
The Clinical Notification Utility allows hospitals to easily define custom alerts to notify staff of situations requiring action. Alert destination groups can be defined with one or many recipients, thus allowing the right set of people to be notified at the right times. Alerts can be triggered based on data in LAB, NUR, OE, and ADM for in-patients. Define threshold boundaries and ranges for vitals, lab results, weights, and more. Monitor sepsis, patient trends, and hospital-wide infection control. The possibilities are endless!
The Clinical Notification Utility is part of IPeople’s Meaningful Use Package and can assist in implementing clinical decision support rules as well as sending notifications when a Core Measure step has not been completed on a patient.
Examples of Patient Safety
- Notify staff if an inpatient or observation patient is potentially septic and requires additional orders or tests.
- Identify patients with high blood sugar results.
- Notify staff of in-house patients currently on blood thinners or other medications based on classification.
- Alert staff of patients that are high-risk for falls, suicides, infections, require restraints, etc..
- Notify staff if orders are not placed based on diagnosis within the expected amount of time.
- Notify the case management department if a minor is admitted to the ICU and an order has not been placed for a consult.
- Email the dietary department if a patient has been admitted to a unit and no meals have been ordered.

ARRA encourages hospitals to implement at least one clinical decision support rule related to a high priority hospital condition.
